Zimbabwe's first-ever victory over 1/4 finalists Algeria wasn't enough to see the Warriors through to the quarter-finals, following earlier defeats to Group C rivals Egypt and Cameroon.

The Warriors return home with their heads held high. Not only did the Warriors win a game in their first finals, they also found the back of the net on six occasions, three against defending Champions Cameroon.
